The tragedy of Selena's death left of a lot of people in shock and also very sad. She was a woman who deserved to be recognized as a Latin American singer throughout the world. Her name is still being heard as well as her songs. She is very important to the Latin community and will never be forgotten. She inspired a lot of girls to work hard to achieve their goals and to never give up.

During her last performance as a singer, she performed on Sunday February 26,1995 at Astrodome in Houston,Texas. Her concert drew in a crowd of 61,041 (which she met a new record due to her previous concerts).

Selena enjoyed and loved designing her own clothes. That was her back-up career for just in case if something would go wrong throughout her career as a singer. She owned two boutiques, which were administrated by her president of fans club, Yolanda Saldivar.

During this time.......shes about 20 years old and has already been recognized as "The Tex-Mex Madonna." At this age she figured that life wasn't easy and that she had to work hard to achieve what she most desired and wanted. She was the type of person who was always laughing and also always smiling towards others. These two traits helped her get to those ones who learned to love her and also to appreciate her for who she was.
